For beginners and experienced DJs

Beginners get the basics from scratch, and experienced DJs get a different set of lessons.

No equipment needed

Everything you need is in the studio, but you're welcome to bring your own – controller, laptop, tablet or phone. We'll teach you on whatever you choose.

Trial lesson

Already know the basics or have tried DJing before? We'll do a trial lesson, see where you are and build an individual program around your goals, wishes and gaps.

Teaching languages

Lessons are taught in Russian, Ukrainian or English – choose whichever suits you best.

5 lessons – step by step

We mix electronic and pop music: from your first look at the equipment to a short DJ set.

Meet the controller
Main elements, channels, headphones and sound control. And straight to practice: you'll mix two tracks on your own.

Rhythm and tempo
BPM, track structure and the basics of beatmatching. Plus different effects and EQ work.

First transitions
Mixing and smooth blending between tracks. Different types of transitions – through the EQ, through effects, through layering – plus more advanced techniques. How to blend different styles: electronic and pop music.

Music and mood
Building playlists: choosing tracks and their order in a set. Plus DJ software on a laptop, tablet or even a phone: downloading music and building a USB stick you can play on professional controllers.

Your first set
Bringing all the techniques together into a short DJ set, with feedback.
